Back to what we call normal. We had competitive freestyle throw rug surfing in the kitchen last night. Jarrod won, River came in a close second, and Emily got a truly gnarly sliver stuck in her foot. It slid right in when she jumped on the rug.Jarrod is back to work on the new album. (See photo). River is still sleeping on the couch. We are expecting three more house guests tonight.
I am thinking of baking up that box of yellow cake on the shelf. All it takes is oil, water, and eggs. Still riding the sugar wave, after the holidays.
We broke into the over-sized, foil wrapped hershey's kiss last night. Each person took a bite off the grapefruit sized chunk of chocolate. Little teeth marks.
More on the state of our yard. On New year's eve i went out and rounded up all the kid's balls out of the bushes. Take a look!
We also got the hammock back up and pulled all the moldering blankets and pillows out of the tree house.Jarrod and I are talking about an all day summer music fest here, in the yard. Tent camping, BBQ, and bands on the deck. Any ideas on who should play?
Listening to Superchunk. The sun is out. Rent is due.
